Walking along the coastal paths of the Costa Brava is great fun. You will discover hidden beaches and places to stop for a drink along the way. TimeOut has a good list of walks.

For example, drive 30 minutes from Villa CP to the BEACHES at S’Agaro, Tamariu, Llafranc. You can walk from any of these along the coastal footpath to quieter areas.

There’s a nice footpath from LLAFRANC to CAN MINA DELS TORRENTS with prehistoric dolmens from 3400 BC! And from there up to the working lighthouse at San Sebastian with panoramic views. Total 5km.

Almost all of the Costa Brava has a coastal path so you can pretty much go anywhere on the coast and you will find the path. Just start walking! Coastal towns are connected by bus or taxi service so it’s always possible to come back on wheels if you’re too hot or tired to walk any more.
