• Can Xiquet 15 mins away
  A family-run restaurant with good Catalan cooking and friendly service. It’s big enough for large groups. Kids can run around and play outside and they’re welcome inside too!  Closed Wednesdays and Sunday nights. Reservation not usually required except for large groups. Tel 972462018. Their website gives a good impression of the place and food.
• Els Tinars 20 mins away
  If you only have one meal out during your stay, make it here. Reservations always recommended for lunch or dinner. A Michelin star, exquisite food and professional service, yet still relaxed and welcoming. Kids can play outside and they are also welcome inside. Again, their website is worth a visit. Closed Sunday evenings and Mondays excluding August. Tel 972830626.
• La Brasa Grillada 10 mins away
  I hesitate to include this one, because it’s cheap and basic, nothing special. But it is the closest to the house. Drive down to Cassà, turn right, it’s right there at the first traffic lights.

• Chinese, on the industrial estate near Mercadona supermarket.
